We are glad to share some success stories of TheNewAmeco.

It is a fantastic kit, very well done, and a pleasure to put together.
I really enjoyed taking a few evenings to research the original AC-1 transmitters and put together your kit.
No real issues in understanding things between the instructions and drawings, and it is working well.
I appreciate the careful packing, and the prompt shipping. Some spare parts I ordered and additional crystals came quickly and look great.
Again, I very much appreciate the effort you are putting into assembling these.

Thanks, Tim Nustad / KD9KHZ

This is a quality vintage kit which is full of nostalgia. This is not a difficult kit to build but I recommend taking your time in construction and think it out before soldering the components.
Also when complete, it takes a little practice in tuning the plate tuning and antenna loading to achieve a proper signal and RF output.
Good luck with the “New Ameco Company”! I think you and your team have some great ideas. Your future matching Regen receiver should be interesting especially if you can incorporate a TR switch or have some kind of stand-alone TR switch as a future product.

Kosta,
Got my R3 resistor yesterday, and the little guy is up and running. Getting a tad over 6 watts out and with a bit of fine tuning the chirp is minimal. Thanks for the great after sale support and making a fine replica. Two QSO’s tonight. I am reliving my novice days 55 years later!

Thank you Kosta,
for a superb kit and unfailing advice. The photo shows that I made a small T/R switch, just a SPDT toggle trying to mimic a simple Novice era T/R switch. I also included wb9kzy's Keyall so that I can key the cathode keyed rig with low voltage. I paired the AC-1T up with a Heathkit HR10...until I can find an Ameco receiver!

I'm impressed overall with the quality of this low-volume kit.
You've put in a lot of effort on the directions and parts inventory.
